The New GGO Med Is Here 🚀
Welcome to the January edition of GGONews. This month marks a significant milestone: the launch of the completely redesigned ggomed.co.uk, new educational videos on UroTube, and something I've never seen another private consultant do — publishing my full practice statistics for anyone to scrutinise.
The New GGO Med Website Is Finally Live
After months of work, I'm thrilled to announce that ggomed.co.uk has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. This isn't just a visual refresh — it's a fundamental reimagining of how a urology practice should communicate with patients.
The site is still being refined (multiple times a day, in fact), but I wanted you to see it now. Have a browse. Feel the vibe. Navigate through the symptom pathways. Explore the condition pages.
When things settle further, I'll put together a proper tour showing you everything that's new. For now, I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.
What's different? Patient-first navigation ("I Feel" and "I Need" pathways), comprehensive condition guides, interactive tools, and a commitment to transparency you won't find elsewhere in private practice.

I Published My Practice Statistics. All of Them.
I believe you deserve to know exactly what happens in my practice before you walk through the door. Not marketing claims. Not vague promises. Real numbers.
Most private consultants don't publish their statistics. I understand why — it takes courage to be scrutinised, and small practices can't generate the impressive volumes that large hospital groups report. But I think transparency matters more than looking impressive.

PHIN-Verified Surgical Data
The Private Healthcare Information Network independently collects and publishes performance data from all private hospitals and consultants in England. This data is collected directly from hospitals — I have no ability to edit or influence it.
95 verified procedures between October 2024 and September 2025, across three hospital sites, with zero adverse events recorded. This includes returns to theatre, unplanned readmissions, surgical site infections, and serious injuries.
What I also published: Where I don't yet have data, what my limitations are, and the one complication I've had that wasn't captured in PHIN statistics because I managed the emergency under NHS care to avoid double-billing the patient. Complete honesty.

Patient EducationWhy I Recommend Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy for Urgency and Frequency
You don't need to leak to deserve treatment. I explain the science behind why pelvic floor physiotherapy works — and why it's much more than "just doing Kegels." This guide was born from a patient conversation where the response "but I don't leak" made me realise how misunderstood this treatment is.

Treatment OptionsHow to Make Your Penis Bigger: A Urologist's Honest Answer
You clicked because you want a bigger dick. I get it. I'm not going to lecture you. Instead, I want to tell you about a patient I saw recently — one in the 98th percentile for size who couldn't stop measuring. This piece explores the difference between anatomy and anxiety, and why mental health matters as much as physical health.
