“Do I Need a Circumcision?”
It’s one of the most common questions I hear in clinic — and the honest answer is: it depends. Not every tight foreskin needs the same approach, and circumcision is only one of several options.
Phimosis Treatment Compass
I’ve built a guided decision aid that walks you through the same questions a specialist would ask: how tight, how long, any skin changes, what you’ve tried, what matters to you. Based on your answers, it shows which treatments are typically considered for your profile — from topical creams to preputioplasty to circumcision — with the clinical reasoning behind each.
No data is collected, nothing is stored. It’s education, not diagnosis — but it’s the kind of education that helps you walk into a consultation already understanding your options.
Service Update
Cystoscopy (Camera Test) at Highgate: Simplified, Swifter, Same Standard of Care
Flexible cystoscopy has always been available at Nuffield Health Highgate — but until now, getting one meant going through a full day-hospital admission process. That’s changed.
Same procedure, far less paperwork
I now have a dedicated outpatient flexible cystoscopy list at Highgate. That means no lengthy administrative steps, no day-hospital admission — just a quick, focused appointment under local anaesthetic. The procedure itself is the same safe, effective camera examination of your bladder and urethra it has always been.
For you, it’s a smoother, swifter experience. You come in, we do the examination in a few minutes, and you go home. For common concerns like blood in the urine, recurrent UTIs, or unexplained bladder symptoms, this makes a real difference to how quickly we can investigate and reassure you.
If you’d like to understand more about when and why a cystoscopy is needed, there’s a dedicated section in my haematuria guide:

The Testosterone Cluster Is Live
I’ve published a comprehensive Testosterone Replacement Therapy hub — three interconnected pages designed to answer the questions I hear most often in clinic:
TRT Landing Page
Everything you need to know about testosterone replacement: who it’s for, how it works, what to expect, and how I monitor your health throughout. Evidence-based, jargon-free.
Read the TRT guide →TRT & Sport
Can you train on TRT? What about competitive sport, anti-doping rules and performance? Straight answers for athletes and gym-goers.
TRT & sport →TRT & Fertility (Blog)
The relationship between testosterone therapy and male fertility is one of the most misunderstood topics in men’s health. This post explains why TRT can suppress sperm production — and what we can do about it.

“When Can I Fly?”
It’s one of the questions I hear most after surgery — and it deserves a proper answer. So I’ve published a dedicated guide covering travel timelines after urological procedures: flights, insurance, what to pack, and when it’s genuinely safe to go. If you’ve ever put off asking, the answer is now on the website.

Flexible Payments with Klarna
I believe that financial concerns should never be a barrier to getting the care you need. That’s why we’ve integrated Klarna into our Carebit payment platform — giving you the option to spread the cost of consultations and procedures into manageable instalments.
How it works: At checkout you’ll see Klarna as a payment option. Choose to pay in 3 interest-free instalments or explore longer plans. It takes seconds, and there’s no impact on the care you receive.

UroQuiz & Compass — In Beta
Two tools I’m building to answer real, recurring patient questions — before and after surgery.
GGO Compass
“Is this swelling normal?” “When can I shower?” “Should I be worried?”
These are the calls I get every week after surgery. Compass is a 28-day digital recovery companion — day by day, it tells you what’s normal, what to watch for, and when to contact us. You can track your own recovery or explore what to expect before you even have the procedure. It doesn’t replace me, but it’s there at 2 am when I’m not.
UroQuiz
Interactive quizzes that help you test your understanding of urological conditions. Designed to educate, not diagnose — built with the same evidence-based rigour as everything on the site.
Both tools are currently in testing. I’ll announce the full launch here first.
